Help me identify this acoustic I just picked up!

I just picked up this vintage acoustic at an estate sale for $300. I figure really any Gibson is worth that, so now I just need to figure out what I got! I've been doing research for about 4 hours now and can't seem to find any pictures of a guitar that matches it. It's a small body acoustic, all Mahogany, no pick guard. It's most unique characteristic is that where the top meets the sides, that edge is rounded, not a 90 degree angle. Pictures below:

As stated above, it appears to be a 1961 LGO that has been "customized", probably including at least a partial refinish. The rounded-over joint between the top and the sides is probably the result of a deteriorated nitrocellulose top binding, which is common in this model. Once that started to go, someone probably peeled it all off and ran a router with a round-over bit around the top.

In very good condition, these typically fetch around $500. At best, this one is worth about what you paid for it.

Well, since it sounds like we paid about what it's worth, I guess we'll keep it! What's funny is the rounded edge on the top is what I really like about it! My dad is a luthier & I've done a pretty good amount of guitar repair, though mostly on electrics. This poor thing needs to have the bridge re-seated, a small crack in the back glued, an inlay replaced & the truss rod cover replaced. Aside from maintenance-related repairs, are there any modifications people commonly do to LG-0's? I've heard that enlarging the sound hole can help quite a bit, but by how much? Since it's already been devalued, I figure I might as well make it play & sound as good as possible!
