I had the BR-800, I'd imagine it was pretty much the same, what's troubling you?

Pm adding effects drums and that?

The COSM (left hand side) button should activate all your effects.

 

Although, not mandatory, the unit assumes you'll be using a drum track, these are all to the right hand side of the machine, so get the track you want by scrolling through the presets, you can save these presets and edit them to suit what you're doing, changing patterns, timing and bpm.

 

Have a look at the manual, the Boss manuals are really easy reading.

Normally split into easily digestible bites though, mate... not hard reading, perhaps a couple of weeks of fiddling about till it becomes second nature, I had one and my mate used one extensively, if you get really stuck, drop me a PM and I/or he will help you out.

 

Good luck, nice wee piece of kit for demoing stuff though.
