Max1
Hi everyone, I am about to pull the trigger on a 2005 Gibson Hummingbird "historic collection". My question is simple: what is the scale length of that guitar? Is it 24.75 or 25.5??? I have read postings on numerous forums but all of them said different things...! I also looked for an answer on the Gibson website but no luck.. Thanks!!!
EuroAussie
You should drop a PM to Jeremy Morton, who's a Gibson CS rep here. Great guy, Im sure he will help you.
E-minor7
My bid would be 24.75 - That's the short scale Bird as we know. Exceptions exist. Think they got longer - moved to 25.50 in 1968 and some years forward. And then there are few long scales from the early period - saw one on the Bay some 10 months ago. Good luck -

E-minor7
Top - guess the 'Historic Collection' points back to the original. Have fun.
