I posted about it on my blog as well. I wish I could say for sure that it was made in 1940 but unfortunately the label is badly torn. Maybe it was made in '41. I don't know. So few of the old Epiphone flattops show up for sale I am wondering how many were made each year. It could not have been a whole lot.
