bonzoboy
I just read his obit on the Vintage Guitar mag website.I have loved Ravi Shankar's music ever since my hero Georger Harrison said Ravi was the World's greatest musician.I have DVDs of him playing and it's just incredible to watch the amazing finger dexterity that he had-especially on his left hand, even in high def. his fingers were almost too fast for the eyes to follow.I have a pretty good collection of his music and it's just the right kind of music to listen if you want complete relaxation-there is something in his music that touches and soothes the soul.I imagine that George and John were at the Pearly Gates to welcome him-God Bless You Ravi-thanks for the beautiful soul soothing music.
