SGFan2
Hello, I had an unfortunate incident yesterday in which I bumped my ebony gloss finished SG and the body paint chipped off to the wood. It's not a big patch (about the area of a finger nail), but it's a new guitar and I would like to repair it if possible. Would anyone out there know if it is possible to repair it? How close to the original paint would it get? Should I take the guitar to a musical instrument specialist or would a good furniture lacquer painter be able to do a good job at it? Thanks in advance, SGFan2
bigtim
a good luthier can do it with a lacquer repair kit they burn it in with a lacquer stick. Good luck. Not sure what it would cost though, Tim
