Twiz
This is my first MXR distortion pedal. So far I'm digging it through my Vox. Great little pedal. I'll post a demo video as soon as it finishes uploading to YouTube.

dem00n
Those are pretty good distortion pedals. I find it best when you add that pedal on top of amp distortion, along with the pedal it was designed after. Grats!
Ryan H
My Distortion 3 is my go-to. I can plug that thing into any amp and get everything from a nice crunch all the way to liquid sustaining lead. With my Traynor's gain on half, and this pedal cranked, I can turn this bluesy crunch into a thumping, screaming beast. And I can still back off my volume and get a nice defined rhythm tone. It's everything I could want in a Distortion box. One thing I really love about this pedal is how the Output (Level) and Distortion controls interact. The Output seems to boost the lower frequencies as you crank it, and the Distortion boosts the highs. And then you can use the tone knob to either cut off any harsh highs from the distortion control or add some high end clarity if the Output control is making it too mushy. I also pulled out the C4 cap in my pedal to add extended treble control (there just wasn't enough high end in the pedal, even with the tone maxed). It's perfect now. -Ryan
