Dallastx
Just got through playing in 2 shows with the SG only. Last was a New Years Eve show. Since I bought the Standard in 2011, just started playing profesionally again. I was concerned about using only one guitar because in the past had at least one back up. After 4 hours each show, the guitar performed flawlessly and sounded awesome. Even in the worst acoustical buildings. Only had to tune two or three times during the show. This has been the best Gigging guitar I have owned. D
Cooperstowncook
I have a 2011 SG Standard that I use to gig with also. I love it. I do bring an SG Special Faded with me just in case, but I haven't had to use it at a show yet.
bigtim
Do not feel too concerned about only bringing one guitar to a show. That is all I ever brought to one. I cannot stand changing guitars in the middle of a set and readjusting volumes and all. Too much of a hassle. The SG is a very versatle guitar for several types of music. I really like mine. Good luck, Tim
