glennc
Hello, I due to a thread on this site, bought a TV Yellow Worn Epiphone Les Paul Junior Special I. Love the sound and a great price. I would like to either get a tailpiece to replace the compensated stopbar with an adjustable intonation tailpiece or possibly install a bridge and new stopbar. Any suggestions and opinions are appreciated. Thanks in advance. Glenn
Whitmore Willy
Congrats on the guitar! If you are interested in an intoneable wrap around tailpiece you can look here: http://guitarfetish.com/Gibson-Style-Bridges_c_36.html (scroll down page) or here: http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Bridges,_tailpieces/Electric_guitar,_non-trem_tailpieces.html Just check out the specs very carefully. For instance, some of the "badass" replicas.......... can put you through this: http://forum.gibson.com/index.php?/topic/76958-beater-guitar-part-4/ Good luck, Willy

A main concern is what is the center to center dimension on the Epiphone, is it 82mm? Much appreciated! Glenn
Whitmore Willy
.... center to center dimension on the Epiphone, is it 82mm Close enough. Every Epiphone L.P that I have seen in the last decade has been around 81.8mm This includes Jr.s and Specials. Admittedly, I have not measured the new ones. Still, I see no reason that they would have changed them. The difference is not enough to worry about. You have more than enough movement in the threads on the posts to make up any difference.
