Picks wear out anyway, so it would be a good idea to pick up a pack of them when you buy your guitar (pick up a pack of picks.....say that 10 times fast!). Welcome to the forum! Then buy a few more. They have a way of disappearing, anyway. (Personally, I think there is a pick-guardian that collects them.) Don't forget Pics of the guitar when you get it.
