Whitmore Willy
Ryansmirk, Congrats on the new guitar!! Brand is up to you. We all have our favorites. Same with gauge, but.... 10gauge through 46gauge are what comes stock. 10,13,17,26,36,46. If you are buying from a store then most also sell individual strings. As you broke the high E already, it would be a good idea to pick up a couple extra. If it breaks again you will have replacements. There is probably nothing at all wrong. Still, keep an open eye. If it continues to break, check to see where. Sometimes there can be a small burr at the tuner or the saddle. (nothing that can't be fixed with a small, fine file. Bluemans335
I think it varies. Some new Epi's seem to have 10's, others seem to have 9's.
