EVOL!
I think they need more compression. My ears aren't blown out enough.
Riffster
I like Volbeat, they are a fun metal band. I play 3 of their songs when I grab my V that is tuned one step down. I like their breakthrough album in the US: Beyond Hell / Above Heaven, there is a CD version where they added the song Still Counting so that CD is pretty killer form beginning to end. There is a song called 7 Shots featuring the guitar player from Mercyful Fate Michael Denner (and his unmistakable sound) and Mille Petrozza from Kreator sings a few intense lines on the same song then the song Evelyn features the singer from Napalm Death (Charlie, I think). They go from pop, to thrash, to death metal to rockabilly in a single album, lots of melody and decent guitar work. Sure EVOL the digital audio sound compressed, are there any exceptions anymore for CDs? From the Dynamic Range Database: the 3 numbers are the overall, minimum and maximum dynamic range scores. The vinyl version is significantly better. I am actually glad I looked this up, I may buy the record.
