Volfan615
Just received an email from someone that wants to trade this for my Martin HD-28 that I have listed on Craigslist. How can I tell if this is a fake or copy? Thanks for the help.
Kenny V
With my limited knowledge, I don't know if it's fake or not by one picture, but I will say it's a really pretty guitar.
jaygl
You'll need to add some detailed pics of the guitar..headstock, neck front and back etc... the more the better. One or more of the guru's here will know.... I do concur, it is lovely to look at.
stein
I think there are a number of things that look "off" to me. Understand I don't know all of the Supreme's Gibson has made, and also, understanding Memphis LP's are a little different than Nashville ones, but 1) I have never seen this particular type before, and 2) there are some deviations and details that are different in spec from a "standard" LP, that I can't explain why would be different. I am 70% sure if we had more detailed photos, this would prove to be a fake.

btoth76
... Hello! That shape looks so off, that it makes me feel suspicious. Good luck... Bence
btoth76
Also... The Supreme Florentine has no f-holes: ...and, - of course - has a real Florentine-style cutaway. Cheers... Bence
sparquelito
The 2015 Supreme Florentine has f-holes. But it has the small soap bar humbucker in the neck position. The suspect guitar has the fret marker inlays from an older model, it would appear. Suspicious indeed.
Volfan615
Thanks for the feedback everyone. I posted this on another forum also and someone mentioned that this looks like a stock photo from a Chibson site. So it appears that this guy is trying to scam me or he was scammed and doesn't know it.
