Bender 4 Life Posted March 20, 2010 Share Posted March 20, 2010 Loaded these pics of my new EJ-200 this morning........it's an absolutely fantastic guitar, rock bottom action w/NO fret buzz, great tone, great volume, AND it's a "looker" for sure. Mrs. Bender saw it & said it wanted to be mine........she had it on layaway for about a month, I never saw it until she brought it home. I had to remove 3 large Greatful Dead vinyl stickers from it (naptha IS just what the Dr. ordered for removing sticker glue w/o hurting the poly finish), give it a good cleaning, f/b oiling, and new strings. It's a June '04 model from the SM factory (Saein Musical?) O.K. without further adieu.......... My Mrs. sure does have good taste in guitar flesh!! Red 333 90% of the painted design was already off when I got it...........a little naptha on a paper towel got the rest off. You can't tell in the pic' date=' but it's actually tortoise shell.
