Anyone have one of these? I searched around & not much info. Seems that it is a regular 45 but for the finish. I saw one in person, and it is growing on me. Sounded good, i liked it a bit better than a regular sunburst in terms of sound. I don't really need the factory pickup though, as I never plug in. Is it a pain to take the pickup out? Does acoustics suffer with the under saddle (which is Graphtec material) pickup? The wood grain ripple is evident - I wonder how it would look after the finish ages some.

Played a left handed one recently. It was nice but not the best on that day. I would think with nothing more than normal care the goldtop finish would be fine.

i raised a thread a while ago about undersaddle pickups because so many are against them , i personally dont think anyone would know if one was in there or not ,but some folk dont think electronics belong in an acoustic guitar ,which is fair enough
they are easy to remove if you dont want it in there

I can envision a well-meaning 'acoustic purist' removing the UST and then shimming the saddle.....Ahah....I fixed that!
