case for Wilshire?

...Is there one? Does Epi make one? Where I've seen Wilshires in stores, they don't come with the cases, and the sales-folk don't seem to know of any such. The Epi website seems pretty useless about just what cases are available for how much (that could just be me and my technophobia).

Got a line on a bee-yoo-tee-ful sounding worn-finish w/minibuckers Wilshire, but I ALWAYS want to go with protection!

Wilshire owners, whaddya got?

The spec sheet for the Worn Wilshire series says "Hard Case (940-EGCS)" which is the Epiphone SG case, but like MidiMan said, I'd test fit it in person. The Epi SG case may have a little more headstock room than other SG cases since the Epi 3-a-side headstock is taller than a Gibson headstock.

Ah, but the worn Wilshire has the bat-wing headstock. Would this make a diff?

I don't think so, I was actually going to mention that, but since it's actually the Worn Wilshire with batwing that the case is specified for, I'd guess that they are saying it will fit with the batwing. The same case is also spec'd for the Frank Iero Phant-O-Matic which is a Wilshire with the normal 3/side Epi headstock.

I was just saying that a Gator or SKB SG case or similar may not work since Gibson SG headstocks are significantly shorter than either Epi headstock design. Same holds true with 335 style cases - you can't put a Dot in a Gibson 335 case - headstock is too tall. But the Dot, Casino, etc. all fit in the Epi case.

I have the Wilshire LTD Pro with the batwing and it fits like a glove in an Epiphone SG hardshell case.

There you go, bloozeguy. Straight from an owner! I figured since that was the case spec'd on the Epi site it would work - but I always hate to "confirm" something I've never seen for myself.
