WTF is he saying? I know the song well. Mumble mumble, a word I understand, mumble. I love Bob I really do but he really can't sing anymore. I'm sorry if you think he can.

In the 60s and 70s you understand him but not now.

Pepper is hard to deny. There is nothing like it. It wasn't what normal rock or pop or whatever the flavor or the day was. They were doing it then The Stones tried to emulate it 2 months later. I had Let It Be on 8 Track. Love all their stuff but Rubber Soul and beyond is the changing of the guard for them. The stars alined for them. They had it all, a great producer, world class studio, two of the best song writters on the planet ect.

Disagree completely. Bob's still a fantastic singer.
Really? Fantastic eh? I'm not buying it. Love Bob have tons of his stuff, but nope. You cant tell what the hell he's singing at all.

Lets's have some fun. And answer up. Say why or not, or you can say you are not a fan. I'm a big boy and can take it if you don't.
I an a huge The Beatles fan aka The White Album. It has so much on it and has blistering rock to silly stuff to what John referred to as Pauls granny music to avant garde (although I hate Rev #9). No.9 is the only thing I would change about the album. Hey Jude (not a fan of that song either) and Lady Madonna were recorded at the same time and if on would have made IMHO the album better. In my younger days Pepper was my #1. Love all the 50th Anniversary remix's. They are really well...fab.

Take it to Pawn Stars in Vegas see what they will give you for it, walk out and double it.

I loved The Rutles mocumentory. All the stars in it. Ron Wood, George, Belushi, Gilda, Bill F-ing Murray , Eric Idol ect. I think Neil was in the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band. He was in The Holy Grail.
Piggy In The Middle, Yellow Submarine Sandwich, Ouch! and it just keeps going.

Fantastic pic. I think this is circa "Love & Theft" but I might be wrong. From an aesthetic standpoint, he's aged incredibly well. I'd be thrilled if I can cut the light in such a way when I get to his age.
Sadly his voice is past shot. Seen him a few times and if I did not know what song it was I would have no clue what he was singing.

lol, it's funny you mention that. a friend of mine in Canada was going to send me a couple Alvinesque stickers just for it. I respectfully declined.
I put stickers on everything especially cases, but never ever on a guitar. Amps sure, my car window, yep. But if its painted , nope, or finished no way.

Sgt. I gotta tell you, I'm really blown away with it. the tone is almost 3 dimensional. I can almost see the notes coming out of the amp. (or maybe thats the Dead concert from '77 coming back on me ...)
At least in '77 it was not the cash grab joke Dead that recently went around. The Grateful Dead, if you like them when they had a good night were like no other band on the planet.

Live at Daryl's House is a killer show. I loved the one with Cheap Trick and they did You Burn Me Up I'm a Cigarette from Fripp's Exposure LP.

lol. it's no Martin like what BB got but I'm pretty happy. 1st time I've ever gotten a new guitar that after a few weeks I start looking at my other guitars and think "I don't really need these". I know that's blasphemous ...
A 335 is the one. I would take those over a LP or SG any day of the week. Nothing it can't do. Once you get over how big they are every thing else comes in second place.

That I can do.
I also don't get hounded out of the kitchen, I don't have to listen to Judge Judy, I don't have to hear long-winded stories about people I don't know, that kind of stuff.
My gifts were okay (some money, some brown dress gloves that I asked for, a giant ceramic Merry Christmas mug which I can use once a year) so I do my own shopping. After having that heart attack on the motorcycle in October I figure that I should get the things I would like to have before they plant me in the ground.
This year it was some new (to me) leather motorcycle jackets and I replaced my hat collection which was lost in a flood years ago: bowlers, derbies, homburgs and fedoras. A silk, collapsible top hat is the only item I'm missing at the moment. That was a fun thing to screw around with but is really out of place here in the middle of nowhere. They're also stupidly expensive so maybe I'll give that one a pass.
Holy hell that happened when you were riding?

They have a 2019 (before the models were revamped, I am assuming) SG Standard for $1149. That is a great price.
I've had a Standard and 2 specials and a faded. The special was my fav.

Who are those guys? I had to hide under my bed for a minuit.
Oh, I've heard them. I don't get them.

Played some guitars at GC. Running errands then go out to an early seafood dinner and watch Americas team p!ss their season away and love it.

I just got back from GC. Played a J-45 priced at 2799. With electronics and a strap button on the neck. I'll pass. Played two cool Double Cuts with P-90s. Played a nice SG Special. I need to sell my D-35 then I'm gonna take a leap to the next level and get D-41.

I haven't heard Moby Grape in ages. I have the album where the guy is giving the finger on the cover.

What is your favorite Beatles album?
in The Gibson Lounge

I think I got Abbey Road, Pepper then Let It Be after that I can't remember. Stoney druggy Beatles are my favorite. Solo stuff is cool but they needed each other to push each other and try to one up each other on the next song.
