What could be more corporate than Love Me Do by the Beatles...... That song is so sweet it makes my teeth hurt..... And my ears
Love The Lads, but for me they didn’t get going till Rubber Soul, but that said, what they were doing at the time on the first 5 albums, was 200x better then whatever The Stones or anyone else was doing.

Nice BJA got clean many don’t. How about don’t put that s-hit in your body. Heroin kills, it’s not a new thing. But cool kids gotta try it cause rock stars do it.

Lemme tell you that nobody in the "Younger Crowd" dresses like them. They dress like they always did, punk. Crazy that they try to dress in the genre that they play 🙄
Why? Are there Prog clothes, and I played in Frank Zappa’s band clothes, and String Quartet clothes? Don’t put on a uniform just to do it.

How dare I be man enough to form my own thoughts, and opinions and voice them. How dare I.

I never got into Green Day and never will. I don’t care how hard it’s been to do whatever they have, I don’t enjoy their music. I also don’t enjoy Taylor music either. Wanna fight about it!
Nope I am in total agreement. Neither TS or GD are special in the kind of music they make. There are many out there doing the same schtick. Old guy poser punks and a hot chick with a decent voice who sings about men who wronged her. Wow mind blowing.

I don’t know who said it but one of the best things I’ve heard recently is, yeah lots of kids on YouTube can re-create Eruption, but you want to impress me you should’ve written it , and recorded it, but all you can do is copy it.

Opinions are like a drunk uncle.
Everybody's got one.
(And some of us ARE one.)
😐I’m just drunk. If I’m someone’s uncle that is of no consequence.

The release "The Tortured Poets Department" ...... a lot of it is painful to listen to: Tons of f-bombs everywhere and the lyrical lofty-ness in the name of trying to come off smart/clever is undesirable to my ears.
Everything prior to that release is quite good, (with exception of the country shhhhstuff).
In my experience the world is what you make of it whether you make millions or not. But we can all agree her musical starting line was definitely far ahead of most and she is at the point she can do whatever she wants. Having a massive following allows her to have that type of musical latitude.
She probably can do what she wants, but like Charles Barkley, young 13 year olds need to know she is not their role model. Shes a sexually active adult who has boned some of the sexiest men on the planet, cause of who she is. See 13 year olds this can be you.

Taylor Swift is awesome..... Although her latest album release is a bit too negative for me.... I just don't like hearing about detailed relationship problems in a song.
What . . . The Princess Of The Universe too negative? What about her shinny happy world she lives in? She has a pro athlete significant other, she makes millions, dates high profile men. Travels the world entertaining Milfs and 13 year olds. She is hot though.

There were just too many haters in this post against Green Day, calling them bad, worm out, and "twits". This was over 10 years ago, and Saviors has reached number one on many current top album billboards. Just thought that the earlier post needed some form of an update 🙂
Cool you listen to them. More for you and less for me. 50 year olds dressing like 20 something hipsters to look cool to the younger crowd. Lame like their music. Oh Jovi blows too.
I thought Armstrong had a “G” in it?

In 2224 he will still be the best guitarist ever.

Whats funny is that they had the DC Faded not that long ago. I bought one brand new for £650. After changing the pickguard to a multi ply one the only difference between the Faded and the $4000 custom was the shinier finish, apart from that, exactly the same guitar apart from the bridge (actually I prefer the TOM on the faded). Also remember these were meant to be student level guitars when they were released.
I played a bluish faded one a few years back. Yeah that price is what it was comparable to at the GC, I played the bluish one at in South Carolina.

Change of plans...the Reverb seller of the red '63 Nashville block inlay re-issue suggested we take our communications to personal email which to me is a red flag. He also said he only accepts Zelle, but I don't do Zelle. So I came groveling back to CME humbly asking if we could go ahead and do the deal on their custom shop 335 reminding him that anything over $5K was going to be like poking me in the eyes with sharp sticks. I've noticed when it comes to business, the asst. sales mgr. has little sense of humor. I suppose that's what he gets paid for. The saga isn't over yet as the Chicago mega guitar store has such a huge turnover of merchandise, My practical advice is if you see something there that you want or see in one of their online sale's circulars, get it then because there's probably going to be a half dozen people at the store looking it over on that same day. How that store manages to do so well in such a horrible, parking-spaces poor location is a mystery but, I saw people getting off buses with guitars and walking in. So, one ES-335 door has now closed and we'll see if the other one opens...
Personal email? Is he trying to sell a guitar or get a date?

I was looking at the CS 1960 Les Paul Special Double Cut and was thinking for a $4,000.00 guitar the least they could do is give you more than two color options. Cherry and TV Yellow. What about TV White? Love that on a LP Special. It's a great option for a color. Or what about Ebony. They've offered that as a color once before. The Oxblood Red is also another I wouldn't mind.
Just do the CS CS 1960 LP Special DC, and pay an extra thousand for the color you want, that’ll show them!

I don’t have #4.5 but I do have 9 #1’s. If you would like to make a trade? We could cut one in half if need be.

More than mint? I did not know that was possible.
More than mint is when you find it under grandpa’s bed in the case, and it’s only been strummed once, and it’s been there since it came home as an impulse buy.

Damn I am sick of that stupid top hat. It’s old Slash. Really old. Like Rick Wakeman and his capes.

Catfish? Isn’t that where idiots get duped on the internet, and they think they are connecting with some hot dude or dudette, but it’s some pimply face 12 year old in their mom’s basement?
