This song (among all the others) is so great... I hope everyone understands!
RIP- 1

These days working on "The Stumble" (Peter Green's version), with my bro, who does the Peter Green part, and I do the easy rythm chords. It's good the song is instrumental, because I can't sing either.

When the salesman at the Arctic Ocean Guitar Center told me he had a pair of pups that would "really bark", (for my pickup swap project), I didn't think he was being literal. Now I'm wondering what I would have gotten if I had chosen the pair he said "produced a deep growl"?
So, what are the pickups we are talking about here?
-
I found some more PUPS (wild seals).

Heres another one
It's played nice and masterfully, making full movement.
However, I think the second part is missing somehow in my understanding of this great song. Maybe it wouldn't fit in the overall scheme of the whole album, so they left it out.
(Oh well, slightly disappointed, just personal preferences) -

What about tomorrow?
I had to read the article half-way before realizing, it was an April Fools joke.😄
-
That was yesterday. It does not count on normal days.

The difference should probably be distinguishable with a strong magnifying glass. I assume corian is visually very uniform in comparison to natural bone.

Didn’t realize I’d create such a stir with this post, but, now that I have it secured I won’t have to replace the battery for 1000 hours
You still have to inspect that battery for possible leaks, like every 3 months.👍

Thank God it's nothing serious.👍
I still don't know why don't they make these systems use rechargable Li-ion batteries, so there would be no need for removal. (Let's hope LRBaggs guys see this great idea and get to work!) -
The guy escaped from Cali, like Kurt Russell?
Have the OCD on the Amplitube platform ... one of my favorites for overdriving.
Looks like this is what happened:

I went.
Spent four days there. I had a great time. Saw lots of amazing guitarists and other musicians.
Met some pedal builders too. Since that was what I was looking for, I got to try a lot of different pedals.
Met Matteo Mancuso also. Talk about an amazing guitarist. Check out these videos. Be sure and watch his right hand technique. Simply out of this world.
Out of this world! Not even Nostradamus saw it coming. 🤓
(Prediction: 5 years from now, everyone will be doing it this way.) -
Do we have anyone on this forum, that would actually dare dance around on stage with something like that? 😁

On My Sweetwater wish list is a Walnut J 45. Today I noticed a price drop of $500. My first reaction is: why? Would anyone have a plausible idea why.
I’m tempted to jump on this, even though I can’t afford to.
The prices are not supposed to be at "suggested retail price", which was an anomaly, due to lack of supply, not only of guitars, but of all other goods. This lack of supply is a direct consequence of 2 years of COVID, where factories were closed, supply-chains fell apart, etc.
Now things are starting to normalize, retail prices should come down to like 10-15% below the suggested retail price, at least for normal non-Custom shop guitars. So nothing to panic about! -
I know it's bad manners to bring up old, forgotten threads like this, but I did follow up on the Thomann website, to see how the new Gibson hollowbodies are flying in good ole forgotten Europe. And yep, they're are actually flying. Even though they're not in stock yet, the Byrdland and the Super400 are gone. Only the Citation at around €23,000 is still there, to be "available in a few months".

Imagine the fun when it comes to re-string it 😄
When you re-tune strings on one neck, does it force you to re-tune the strings on the other one, too? 😅

Sadly he passed away several years ago. His car went off the road in California.
His first few albums were all instrumental.
Aerial Boundaries is insane. I have it on vinyl.
I don’t think Jimi Hendrix could pull off what Micheal was doing. Maybe but . . .
Haha, I watched GIMME SHELTER from a YouTube concert, he first broke a string, restrung & tuned the guitar and started playing... I still keep thinking, it was a Grand Funk Railroad song originally. You know, some of us can't sing like even if nobody is around. Gotta have great respect for real artists like Michael Hedges! (and Jimmy Page of course)
Running Aerial Boundaries ... 🤠 -

Michael Hegdes did crazy stuff of acoustic guitars too. Remember him?
Thanx for this, Sgt. Pepper!
I never heard this guy, or of this guy before. Just checked "Woman of the World" by Michael Hedges from some concert. He can sing and play the acoustic, very artistic. Those left-hand fingerings are really something, as far as I can see. 😎 -

This song is a real treat, a feast of musical expression. Goes for everyone of the artists on the video, including the ones in the black & white segments.
BIG APPLAUSE! -
I had to look this one up.😀
Alex González (musician) Alejandro González Trujillo (born February 24, 1969) is an American musician of Cuban and Colombian extraction. He is the main drummer and songwriter for the Mexican band Maná and metal band De La Tierra. He is nicknamed "El Animal" and has sung lead vocals on several songs, such as "Me Vale". -
This looks like a real treasure. Maybe you should talk to Gibson, they might want to inspect and document it. And evaluate for repairs.

Randy Bachman of the Guess Who is selling off his guitar collection including a '59 LP
in The Gibson Lounge

I know Randy Bachman only through his BTO albums, where he did some great creative work.
(Doing now some research on the "Guess Who", thanx for this forum, never heard of them before...)
