  1. Stray Cat Blues - Rolling Stones
  2. He was in Japan because he was there for his SMKC tour.
  3. When did you buy it? And upload photos.
  4. @LAikens16It is thought that there are about 25 of these but cant be sure.
  5. If you post the Serial Number I should be able to find out more about this guitar.
  6. He is doing the record with Gibson records so he probally has access to any guitar he wants
  7. 50 are being made and they are selling for $50,000 but im sure they will resell for more.
  8. I searched it on a serial number lookup and it is a 1957. Here is what it said: Year: 1957 Location: Kalamazoo, MI Info: Archtop models have a stamp on the inside of the F-hole. On flat tops have a stamp on the neck block.
  9. I do agree that Mick Mars is underrated and not talked about enough. Whenever someone think famous 80 guitarists Mick does not come to mind, whenever people think of Motley Crue they think of Vince, Tommy and Niki but not Mick.
  10. In the the late 80s when everyone was trying to play like Eddie Van Halen or playing really fast it was Slash who brang back the classic rock bluesy sound. But I know what you mean and its cool to see him expand his ability in his new album.
  11. I've never played on but i love the look of that trans-black firebird
  12. Oh yes, that slipped my mind. Good point. These were all limited addition runs. So I guess we could see a slash signature limited run.
  13. True, but Caesar Guieken is doing a great job. Since he took over, Gibson have done very well like opening 2 garages. Credit to Mark Agnesi as well who was overseeing the first garage, he is also in charge of the Gibson Youtube and starting high production series like "The collection", "The scene", "The process" and even non related guitar series like "Metal and Monsters".
  14. I think it is unlikely that we will see a signature slash ES-335. I imagine slash was using it for practicality purposes. In the studio before slash has actually used allot of differant models that aren't Les Pauls. I think its just hte fact Slash has used it for the semi-hollow body sound. I'm pretty sure Slash has had more signature models then any other artist and apart from his acoustic J-45s all the electrics have been Les Pauls and I dont think Gibson would make another signature that is not a Les Paul. However there is a chance and Slash is releasing his new reissue of his "Jessica" soon so we do know that Gibson are still happy and succesful making his signature models. Watchout on Cesar instagram for any leaks.
  15. You should go and get it refinished and you should have no more problems. Can't have been a finish out of the factory.
  16. Dude looks like a lady - Aerosmith
  17. I have been to the Gibson Garage in London and it was great. The staff were very welcoming and they were busy.

If you watch the series "the scene" on Gibson's youtube channel you can find many cool guitar related shops.
  19. I think it is unlikely that if Gibson were to see these models that they would take it any further as they dont really do that sort of thing but stick with the classic and timeless models, however there is no harm in trying and you never know. I think Gibson are more likely to take on ideas like a modified brige of new nut design rather than a new body shape. In terms of who to contact you could try Cesar Guieken (CEO) however not sure he is the best. You could also try their vice president Mat Koehler.
