  1. Hey! Thanks for the kind words. I have been impressed with it so far. It was set up fantastic for the 10s that were on it and of course needed minor tweaks for the custom set i installed. Cheers!
  2. Hey Guys. I'm baaaack... I know there's no shortage of Theodore videos popping up, but if you get the chance or want to know more about the guitar, I've done a pretty extensive rip-apart of one just to see all the bells and whistles, as well as point out the differences between the Standard and the CS model when applicable. Anyway, hope this helps any prospective buyers. Cheers! Gibson Theodore Standard Deep Dive
  3. Funny you ask, I compare the pickups to Custom Buckers in the video. Cheers!
  4. 🤫 (did it) Gibsons $1000 "1959 Humbucker" PAF in a $400 Guitar?!? https://youtu.be/FbHnPxxkX1I
  5. Yeah. I did it. 🤫 Gibsons $1000 "1959 Humbucker" PAF in a $400 Guitar?!? https://youtu.be/FbHnPxxkX1I Cheers!
  6. Don’t worry, I’m putting them in a guitar the instant that I can. 😜
  7. Title says it all. What do you guys think? $1k for a pair. 😬
  8. For me, this is one of the coolest guitars Gibson USA has ever released, and while it was a bummer they stopped making it in this finish, I’m also very grateful to have one as well knowing it was somewhat unique. I was very eager to see how similar or different than the Epiphone Slash Anaconda Burst it was. So I made yet another comparison video if anyone wants to check it out. cheers! Slash Anaconda Burst comparison video
  9. I gotta say, it's really a great guitar. I like it better than the brand new Studio Modern that is releasing soon, to be honest. Even with that studios Phase-reversal, solo switch, and coil tapping abilities, I find the Modern Lite to just be a no frills / no BS / rocker. Super comfortable, super good sounding, super solid! It didn't even occur to me until recently that it's pretty much the same build as the 2014 Melody Makers. Probably same tooling. Difference being those had a fat 50's and these are obviously Slim taper. Cheers!
  10. Thanks for the compliments and for checking out the video! Halloween pickups - I was only commenting on both their assembly date being of 10/31 😛 Otherwise, they are just 498/490 combo that’s in all the studios. cheers!
  11. You probably saw my other post. Probably also saw the link didn’t work. I had to re-edit the video and fix something and because YouT doesn’t allow that without a new URL…well, that’s why that link didn’t work. Anyway, I fixed this. here’s the new link for the upcoming Studio Modern guitar from Gibson. Bound compound radius ebony fretboard. Coil taps, phase reversal and solo switch. Heel carve. I think in particular, @SteveFord you were noticing the last link was removed. 2024 Les Paul Studio Modern Review
  12. I know these pickups have been out for a while now, but I’ve never played with them until now! I couldn't help but jump on the new SG Custom Color series (I went with the 61 TV Yellow)..I've used a lot of Gibsons and their pickups, but these just sound amazing. Im truly blown away with how well they sound with both fuzz and with clean and a touch of drive! Anyone else as surprised as I was by these?
  13. Hey everyone. I did a video comparing the Gibson USA and the Epiphone version of the Greeny guitar if anyone wants to check it out or is curious before purchasing. It’s not a “vs” video per se, but more of a ‘direct comparison of various components’ video. thanks! Epiphone vs Gibson USA Greeny
