This will be the perfect way to see off this really strange year.
A really nice way indeed. May the bluebird of happiness kick '20 in the *** and usher in a better 2021.

New snowblower arrived today. Was supposed to be an amp, pedal and set up pickups - but it's a snowblower. Disappointed it's this, but happy to have it... from new england.

You've got some good woodworking skills I'll say that - the guit is look killer! Excited to see what it looks like when done.
With respect to nitro... for this build (because it is so sweet) i'd go with what I know, but I believe that stuff is horrible for the environment so might look for other ways to finish it in the future. I'd like to see what a coat of tung oil could do. Regardless - it's looking like a keeper!
How thick is the body?

SUPER AWESOME COOL RABS - that thing rocks. Any chance of Rabswoods putting out a hollowbody? Enjoy that thing, I know I would!

Loved it RBP - I think you've got a sweet spot with this genre of music. Thanks for sharing.

Next spring, I plan on getting a good fiberglass ladder for going up on the roof for blowing off the tree debris with a blow vac. Unless our son comes over and does that part like he said he would.
If the son route doesn't work, you should just hire someone to do it. As your new staples are proving, we don't bounce like we used to.

When you go to the front page and it tells you to sign in, just go to the individual forums. You'll see that you are logged in just fine. At least, that's how it has worked for me. Keep doing that and soon you will have a normal front page, you are logged in, it's back to normal.

Thx - unfortunately not working for me. I keep trying it though.

Have you done anything to hurt the forum's feelings?
Rejection and alienation are very often side effects of a relationship gone south due to cruelty or inconsideration.
Perhaps buy the forum some flowers, or a nice box of chocolates.
A heartfelt apology may be all it takes.
😐Dear forum, you complete me, and I am very sorry for whatever you believe I did, of course it was my fault. Please let me back in.

I was thinking of staring her down, but I think the forum would out last me.

I don't know if I mentioned this here or not.
A while back I was trying to buy a Firebird VII, I asked the guy if he'd accept a deposit and the remainder in a week or so and he jacked the price up $600 and then eventually jacked it up another $600 after that. Needless to say, I didn't buy that one.
I found another one on Facebook and asked the guy if he'd ship as it would be a 6 hour round trip. No shipping so I said I'll let him know on Thursday.
The next day he jacks the price up $100...
It must be my breath.
I don't think I'll bother pursuing any more Firebird VIIs, one is enough.
WTF! Freakin people. I might try for 1 more VII just because it is what it is, but I generally follow the rule of 1 time is luck, 2 times a coincidence, 3 times a pattern - so no more than 3.

Oooooh shiny! Word on the street, shiny always sounds better. Enjoy. PS - I think it's wicked cool you got them set up with the splitter for the different sounds... I could annoy a lot of people for long periods of time with a set up like that!

Hey all, everytime I get off the forum, I get logged out, and then have to reset my password to get back in. I believe other folks dealt with this - does anyone know of a fix?

Sweet guitar - enjoy the journey. Aint no sunshine's cool - good luck.

Here's a question for you readers - what can you get a reader for a present that is not a book?
My father's a reader, likes all the grisham, baldacci, patterson stuff - and I want to get him something for christmas. He's already read a lot, so I just don't want to get him a book for fear he's already read it. Doe anyone have suggestion for any book clubs, or something a little more personal than an Amazon gift card I could give him?

Would it cost a lot to refinish in a burst if I was to get it?
-
Rabs - I'd say it's worth the drive, but if your really perspickity about your neck - I'd be ready to walk away if it doesn't feel right. There' a responsibility on you though to make sure the money you were going to put towards it is available in the future towards a guitar you would mesh with. So maybe as Jax50 says - a bird in hand....

Supported a 20 minute job yesterday that went from 3:30 pm to midnight yesterday, picked it up again at 8 am, and still going. Love stupid people doing stupid things.

I've never latched onto JB as a musician, what I concisously knew I was listening to, it never grabbed me. But I know the guy has skills. If I wanted to listen to him, what's some of the best stuff to look for?

Just plain cool - those demo's makes me want one!
