I have a 1975 reissue I purchase backed in 1994. Looks very similar to this, with the exception of a maple neck and a natural finish. The binding and the block inlays is what does it for me. I love that thing, it plays nice and the sound is kick ***. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine!

No but I caught something that sounded like that from a girl in Korea.

Crop dusting is for light weights! I have a full out tactical nuclear assault, no one is happy when I'm done! My colon is registered with the FBI!

You would be better of calling them directly, they are notorious for not answering their emails. US 1-800-4GIBSON

I have seen other owners come in here with similar issues in that same spot or cracks where the head meets the neck. I never seen in those posts what exactly the issues were, or what may have caused those cracks, just speculation.
Are you the original owner of the guitar? If so, I would think this would be covered under the "Limited Life Time Warranty". I would give Gibson Customer Service a call.

Discussions can be a Joke.. There is proof of that everywhere… This Thread is but one…
Re; On the other hand…. The same can be said to all the Haters… If you don’t like those Bands don’t go see them.. Just because one person doesn’t like something it doesn’t make them credible.. If the Band can sell a few hundred thousand Tickets & People go see them it makes them wrong.
Instead, why not move on to more constructive, positive & productive discussions rather than spread Cancer….
Like Posting Threads of their Music, Bands & Performances.. I’m sure all the Haters are much better than those they discredit.. so, let’s see & hear them.. I’d love to see them.. Now, that would be an interesting discussion..
Oh lord I could give you guys A LOT to talk about!

The body looks like a typical 1st time home-build guitar IMO (and also a Tokai Talbo).
This sums the whole topic nicely! Nobody can be as accurate as that, outside of maybe "10th grade woodshop project".

Yes, very sweet indeed.
I strongly recommend at least purchasing a Les Paul gig bag to secure that beauty.

I was kinda hoping they had. This place is a sewer. Was hoping it might change. Not gonna, it appears.
This is not meant as a jab, just curious. Why do you only post when the threads turn into pissing contests? Why not contribute to the site during more civil posts?

I have a hard time categorizing it as a song, tell the truth.
Plus I see it as an attempt to exploit the Ukrainian tragedy for some kind of gain, either monetary, notoriety or both. Like the myriad of country tunes exploiting the tragedy of 9/11. And no generation or genre is exempt. As Country Joe sang in "Feel Like I'm Fixin' To Die Rag" "There's plenty of money to be made supplying the army with the tools of the trade..." There was also plenty of money to be made singing songs in protest of the Viet Nam war, which went on regardless. I guess musicians then(and apparently now) felt that if they didn't sing against something their audience might get the impression they didn't care. Which of course was never true. And since every American television and radio station is constantly full of the news and images of what's going on over there, we really don't need an ersatz Pink Floyd band to "raise awareness" of what's happening in the Ukraine.

Have you ever thought to yourself "maybe I should keep my option to myself"? Sometimes you can twist something nice into something that's unrecognizable. Time to put your post into the ignore my list.
P.S. Yes, that was me that gave you the sad emoji.
