lespaul94
I know the Douglas isn't a gibson, but I'm wondering if the Douglas Shadow pro is better than the epiphone special 2 custom shop. The douglas shadow is cheaper but it is made of alder and most likely low end pickups. http://www.rondomusic.com/shadowgold.html I already ordered the special 2 limited edition red but am thinking of canceling it considering a very real looking les paul is even cheaper. Would it be worth it? Do douglas guitars break down after a year?
Old Rocker 59
I know the Douglas isn't a gibson, but I'm wondering if the Douglas Shadow pro is better than the epiphone special 2 custom shop. Would it be worth it? Do douglas guitars break down after a year? I personally wouldn't waste my money on that . If you don't want the Epiphone LP Special II then why not upgrade to a Studio model ? If the price for a new one is too much for you, you can go to Guitar Center's website and check out their used gear area . I've seen used ones go for around the $200.00 mark to begin with. lengle1981
I agree with old rocker 59. The Douglas will probably be a POS and wouldn't go anywhere near it. Save a little longer and look on eBay or at your local store for a second hand epi standard. It'll be we'll worth the wait I assure you.
