Country-Rocker
Hi All, Is it common to have dark marks in heritage cherry finish? I have included a pic. It only has one on the bevel of the top side. I also fond a small bump/indention on the top near a seam(?). It is too small to get a 100% shot of. It can be seen when looking at the guitar in an angle with bright light. Is it normal to have this? The rest of the guitar is fine. I don't want to let it go over a bump on the front, but then again I don't know if it will effect it in years to come. Thanks, Freddie
STEVIL
Looks just like a mark in the wood to me. The bump I'm not so sure about, maybe one of the guys here can help. Is there a chance of a similar type picture, just to see what the general area is?
kidblast
you're probably dealing with a minor cosmetic issue, I doubt there will be any thing over time that will happen here. The dark mark looks peculiar, almost like a burn mark... but still cosmetic..
Country-Rocker
Thanks guys, The good folks at Andertons gave me another one. This one is really a looker and I couldn't be happier. I worked in a factory for many years, so I understand these things. Gibson is a good company and I knew it would be okay. It shows how it makes a difference to buy from a good store.
