SG for blues??

Does someone can tell me if a SG (I'm searching in the mid '70) is good for blues

For sure it is!!!

 

We could naem several guys who played blues with sg's (even Hendrix used them) but I'll name one that is sure to clear any doubts: Eric Calpton

Back in the good ol Cream era Clapton played a Custom Painted SG. Take a look:
