youngchevy
Does someone can tell me if a SG (I'm searching in the mid '70) is good for blues
Guitar slinger
For sure it is!!! We could naem several guys who played blues with sg's (even Hendrix used them) but I'll name one that is sure to clear any doubts: Eric Calpton Back in the good ol Cream era Clapton played a Custom Painted SG. Take a look:

Guitar slinger
Thanks guys you all say the same and I'm happy to learn this. But don;t leave the room yet. There is always Derek trucks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmgKEPVPyF0 EDIT: And almost every slide solo you hear on the AMAZING "Road to Escondido" CD (Eric Clapton and JJ cale) is likely to be Derek Trucks and his awesome SG.
