Golden
I read a comment here [sorry can't find it] where it was suggested the Model Number LP(5) or LP(6) indicates the neck profile by the number. I'm not seeing this on one of my LPs. Is this consistent or even a fact? Could be, LPS for Standard? I believe that might be it. Just wondering, no biggie. BigKahune
. The neck profile isn't always in the model number, but when it is, they're as you say. Here's an example - LPS6GTNH1 = LP(Les Paul) S(Standard) 6(6o's neck) GT(Gold Top) NH(Nickel Hardware) LPS5GTNH1 = also available with 50s neck. . It's mainly with the 2002-2008 LP Standards and a few other models that offered both profiles.
