(The inside joke in the skit is that J is known to be one of the LOUDEST guitar players, so even unplugged he's too loud.) He also has his own model JM through Fender...not sure if that's the one, but likely. One of the reasons JMs are so expensive these days is thanks to alternative bands like Dinosaur Jr, Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine all choosing them -- back when they could be had for next to nothing...
