I think the sound we're hearing is heavily influenced by the mic and EQ of the sample.

Also, I wish Greg would slow down so the tone of the guitar could come through better.

He's a speedy player who seems to use these vids to show off his skill set.

Sounded pretty good to me too, especially for a brand spanking new one. And I'm not much into rosewood guitars. I didn't look up the asking price but I imagine that the Fairbanks and the Kopp and the Santa Cruz Yggdrasil mentions all go for more than this one.

Even at that tempo, you can tell from the snippets of Cannoball Rag and Windy-War that its got a quick repsonse and bite to it. There are pretty chords to be had, if they we allowed to ring out. It can certainly do Dont-Look-Back-era Bob strums. And it punches above its weight class. Dont have a direct comparison to other NL-types, so cant speak to model characteristics or vintage vibe, but, yeh, nice guit.
