tonewood amps

I stumbled on this last week, never heard of them before looks pretty interesting

 

it uses the guitars body to project the sound. There's no speakers other than the wood and the sound hole.

 

it's in pre-order status so this is a fairly new product. Not sure how their "mounting" strategy effects nitro finishes

(I would guess it would be a problem over time)

I think this is very cool indeed!!! Would add a little spice to an acoustic jam session with friends, without having to drag out the amps, mics, etc. My only hesitant would be sticking that darn 3M double stick tape to the back of my guitar! That stuff is kryptonite to a nitro finish. I'll wait till they come up with a better mounting procedure! Anyway, a very cool product that would be fun to fool around with!
