JuanCarlosVejar Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 check it out : the guitar was made for the japanese market in a batch of 5 JC
j45nick Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 If they were going to build a rosewood J-45 Legend, I wish they had just gone the whole hog and turned it into a rosewood '42-'43 SJ Legend. That would be a guitar I would line up to buy, having passed on one of the original ones (to my regret) a couple of years ago. Fortunately, that particular guitar got a good home with Tom Barnwell, so maybe I should just be relieved I didn't spend the money. This is a great-sounding guitar, but its tonal character almost belies the J-45 label.
duluthdan Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Love it. Sounds a bit of slapping against the fretboard, suppose that's the guys style. I find myself without a Rosewood dread in the stable. One of these would fit, but I've got to agree with Nick - make this an SJ, and I would be motivated to hunt one down.
