Hype Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Has anyone else noticed that the back of the 2013 and 2014 models of the J-200 for both Natural and Sunburst is not as distinct/predominant as previous years? Maybe the flamed maple wood hasn't been as good in recent years?
JuanCarlosVejar Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Gibson always has great flame maple. How many 2013\2014 j 200's have you analyzed ? JC
BigKahune Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 . I don't see this at all. There are always variations in the amount of flame from one guitar to another in every model year. But that doesn't matter because personal taste ranges from those who like a lot of flame, to those who like a more subtle amount of flame. .
