bobouz
Here's pictures of my crescent moon inlay SG. Are they rare? Or not so much? I have one in red, which was purchased new in 2002. This was the first year of the Faded SG model, and it also sports an ebony fingerboard & ABR bridge. After approx a year, the moon inlays were replaced by dots, so this version is fairly rare. After approx another year, the ebony fingerboard was replaced by rosewood, and the ABR bridge was replaced rather quickly by a Nashville bridge. Pickup covers were never standard, but I've added them on mine (the only modification made). Occasionally this model will come up for discussion in the SG section of the forum.
