Trouble is it was decades ago and I don't have a serial number or anything like that, but here goes... Did anybody out there purchase a black and gold LP Custom from an old second-hand shop somewhere just off Barking High Street (NE London on way to beginning of the original M11) around 1979? Although at the age of 19 I paid £550 for it back in '76, I sold it on a whim to the first second-hand shop I saw to fund a naval-gazing trip to India. Regretted it almost ever since (not the trip...), particularly that I don't have any records of the guitar or teh shop I sold it to, or anything - just the model, a rough date and a approximate place...
