Well she was waiting for me upon my return from my San Francisco vacation, and after a good cleaning with the Gibson polish and Ernie Ball's wood wipes for the bridge and fretboard, she really brightened up.

 

You can tell there has been internal bracing repairs done, but the neck is straight and the action is unbelievably low, and the intonation is outstanding up and down the fretboard.

 

The sounds is quite clear and dark..... This guitar smokes my Alvarez classical by a long shot.

Take a good look, all- there's something you don't see very often: a Gibson slot head.

 

Now if Big G would only offer it in a steel stringer, they'd have a piece of Martin's pie.
