The music is called "Cellos on the Beach". Photos of the guitar are in the video. An explanation of the why's of the music is in the narrative section under the title on YouTube. Perhaps this will be a new trend...Classical music on a J-45. Any and all comments and feedback are welcome. SC_Wannabe Posted August 8, 2016 Share Posted August 8, 2016 Maybe a bit too esoteric for this crowd? I did notice the 60's J45 though, and love it. I played one of these (I think) at a local shop the other day and had a hard time not bringing it home. It had the cherry burst, adjustable bridge, and was stamped "J45 ADJ" on the center strip just like the real 60s deal. It was very light, had more thump and resonance new than my J50 does after 8 years of aging. Like I said, I had a hard time leaving it there. You can hear how it resonates during the final 2 minutes or so in the recording when I try to have the guitar kinda have a cello vibe. I did change the tusk saddle insert in the adjustable bridge to a bone saddle insert in the adj bridge...which seemed to fill the sound out even more than the factory tusk insert (which substituted for the original 1964 model's ceramic or wood insert.). I bought mine from Fullers Guitar in Houston over the phone. Esoteric...naw. Music is music. One should never be scared by music labels. It's all really just pick'n and grinnin'. Thanks for your feedback. Good to hear some feedback about the music and the gitbox. Was beginning to think the forum turned into the twilight zone or somethin'.
