himura84
Hi guys, I have recently acquired a Les Paul Classic HP, which comes with locking tailpiece and bridge. I wanted to ask how these locking features work, since they don't have the side screws to lock things into place like tonepros. They seems to be in the same hole where you would adjust the height of the tailpiece and bridge. Unfortunately this is not explained in the manual. Did anyone mess with their factory setup and used these features already?
merciful-evans
I had not heard of these. So I checked & found these. The description seems to describe a more robust build rather than a radical re-design. http://www.tonepros.com/products/

merciful-evans
Are you saying you're unable to adjust the bridge? I looked at your guitar on the Gibson site which describes the thumbwheels as 'locking'. I couldn't make out the top of the bridge post screws very well but they look cross headed & unusual. Are there allen key sockets at the top there or something else?
RockyA
Looks like top of bridge posts are slotted. I guess you hold the wheel and the turn counterclockwise with screwdriver to unlock. The adjust wheel, hold, and tight post clockwise, Can't see it working any other way
