Zippydog Posted July 10, 2017 Share Posted July 10, 2017 I decided that I did not care for the glass like finish of my EL-00 Pro. So I decided to eliminate it. Using a red Scotch-Brite buffing pad I carefully took it from a thick gloss to a satin finish. I absolutely love the way it came out. I also finally found an ivory pickguard that matches the binding that helps give it a totally different look. It sounds and feels nicer. The word "mellower" comes to mind. Here's some pictures.
