Jinder
The magic of the J15 for me is the top end-all those bell-like trebles and silvery overtones. Lovely mids too.
Murph
A standard ES-339 like the OP's (not the lower tier versions), typically go for $1,500 or more on the used market in excellent condition. Mine is the first year, 2007, and it's the darker (vintage) burst. It's got the Custom Shop logo and is in pretty good shape, I bar gigged it for well over a year though. I figured $ 1500 would be a pretty close street value as well. A new J-15 burst maps around $1900 from what I'm seeing, with the natural color tops mapping around $ 1600 / $ 1700. I figure I'll have to kick in a few bucks, actually. I have many other electrics should I decide to go back electric, which I'm not.
