Proclaimer888
Always enjoy a good read this time of year( 4 degrees currently)....of course its gota be about music, guitars, bands..ect. Currently reading Ballad of Britain by Will Hodgkinson. Bout a guy who goes around Britain, digging up and dusting off old music, traditions and such. Gives some attention to the band Heron (early 70s folk) at the beginning...had never heard of them they sound interesting. Hope to find one of their CDs for under 50 bucks. Author also wrote Guitar Man, a fun read and great read for any music/guitar folks. Anyway, always looking for the next book....suggestions most welcome. BluesKing777
Thanks! I must read that - Will’s earlier books like Guitar Man are just plain hysterical. Now I just finished another Guitar Man, but the sub heading is Six Strings of Separation, by M J Indelicato. (When young, he saw a famous guitar player play a Strat and bought a new Strat....but later read Robin Trower say the new ones were.......etc, and set him off of a path of vintage guitar buying, selling and hustling the big name guitars and players BluesKng777.
