What this thread seems to show is that guitars are individuals, and that generalizations are dangerous. There are great guitars here from both the 50's and the 60's. I wouldn't turn down any of them, even though a 17" super jumbo is a bigger guitar than I care to deal with these days.

 

For those who can make them shine, rave on.

All true and then add to that the fact that the one that you reckon sounds better might end up being the worst one when you play it yourself

 

Guitars can’t be judged by these videos. But they are fun to watch
