Navy Vet. Posted July 31, 2019 Share Posted July 31, 2019 I have a friend who transferred to another city, he had some hilarious sayings. Today he calls me and inquires how are things at the office. I say same as it ever was, same as it ever was. He asks if I’m still digging my Les, I say hell yea. Then he launches into this. “ I move in one direction, that direction is forward, I don’t live in the past, or cry over spilt milk. Don’t play a Fender and wished I’d bought a Gibson. I just pony up the money and buy the Gibson and move on.” I said Ok. Been real hot this summer in the Deep South, but I’m not going to dwell on it. I’m just going to move on.
