Dub-T-123
Hey guys. I’m wondering if you have any resources or advice on how to track down and eliminate buzz in an old acoustic guitar I have a 1952 Martin which sounds and plays great. Only problem is that something is buzzing on the guitar. I have a lot of tools and am generally a very capable DIYer, but should I just take this to a luthier or is this something that can be easy to fix? thanks in advance for any help
Twang Gang
I am no expert on '52 Martins, but often buzzing with acoustics has to do with the bridge or bridge pins, so I'd start there. Many things can dry out and get loose over 67 years so good luck finding what it is.
Dub-T-123
Thanks Twang, a friend recommended a luthier here and I am planning on taking my guitar down to his place this weekend
