Gibson Soundhole Cover

First step is to measure the soundhole - they can all be very different, but Gibson DREADS are usually close to 4" and Planet Waves happens to have one:

How will this improve recording with a piezo? The plug is best with a dual source pickup with a mic - turn the mic right up.

I went to town on the rubber rim of the Yamaha soundhole cover that I bought with a Japanese kitchen knife to shave off the excess. I didn't take much, it fits perfectly now.

It gives the piezo, if you're so inclined to make use of it in the first place, a more natural-sounding, less harsh voice with plenty of oomph.

@ 43:30min onwards
