D Mac
I just inherited a mint condition 1987 model Les Paul, which I think is a tobacco burst. The serial number is 82657522. It has been in a case under a bed for about 30yrs. The only thing missing is the truss rod plate so I don’t know if it’s a Standard, Custom, Studio, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!

Sgt. Pepper
Serial number proves what day it was stamped and not the model. Gibson makes a billion LP models. Les Paul Studios came out in 1995, so no studio. Plus it has binding and a bound fretboard. Edited December 19, 2019 by Sgt. Pepper
mihcmac
I thought it might be an 87 Custom Lte but with no headstock binding or Grover style tuners it looks to be an 87 Standard with the stock Kluson style Gibson Deluxe Tuners. similar to this one on eBay..
