I had so much fun making that record, did the whole thing in three days-one day of rehearsal, one day of tracking and one day of mixing. I’d just gotten divorced and was living in my car at the time (I was on the road a lot so it was easier than renting a room that would be empty most of the time), so decamped to my parents’ spare bedroom and recorded it there with some rudimentary kit.
