I would love to learn more about my 1961 Gibson Hummingbird Electric guitar and the original owner. Would Gibson have records for custom shop orders?

One of the previous owners contacted me from a post on this forum with some information about the original owner:

Any ways it belong to my Grandfather who bought it brand new in Kalamazoo in 1961 he was a country artist his friend worked for the Gibson custom shop  He ordered it with the pickups. When I pawn it also had a hot pink Gibson California girl case. His name was Luther Gordon he was born in 1913 He was my adopted grandfather.  He played a lot of country music and was well known Not sure if he ever recorded anything but he was good friends with the Everly Brothers and there uncle Bob who lived in Lapine oregon.

That's great. I wonder if his label also shows HUMMING BIRD-ELEC. Did it have the stinger on the back of the headstock?

The electric pen mark is not original.  Mine didnt have electric. Just hummingbird
