heymisterk
Hi SG Fans, I used to have a late-'90s Guild S-100. I LOVED it, but when I ran into some trouble with my finances, I had to let it go. Now, I have an opportunity to purchase a '71 S-100. Does anyone know anything about this model? It has the original Guild 'buckers, and is is decent shape. Can anyone comment on the sound of these earlier models? It doesn't have the "acorn carvings" on the body as some do. It looks sweet, but if anyone has any expertise or opinion, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks!

I'm not sure; it's being bid on on eBay. Did it sound similar to an SG?
yoda
not as cutting (hot) a little cooler sounding probably for like an older sg, not the hotter newer sg standards.
NeoConMan
Get it, as long as you don't have to pay SG money for it.
