Notes_Norton
I guess we all have the right to our decisions, as long as our decision doesn't directly take away that right of others. If I want to smoke and eat myself into poor health, I have that right, but I have no right to force you to do the same. If I want to climb Mt. Everest, swim with Nile Crocodiles, ride a dirt bike wildly at dangerous speeds, take a selfie on the rim of a canyon, eat a fugu puffer fish, play Russian Roulette, or not wear a mask during a pandemic, I should be ready to pay the possible consequences. Back on topic. Our Labor Day gig got rained out. It was for a regular customer, so I did not get paid (they lost money, too). It was a known risk. But Mrs. Notes and I stayed home, fixed a great homemade lunch, drank some wine, played some games, and rented a movie. It was a good day. We worked last nigh, and have a gig this evening, so we aren't starving.
