codyyy
Since I took apart my '68 SG Custom to be restored, I'm now playing my dad's Gibson Chet Atkins SST. My question is that I want to keep it glossy and buttery. Now, I usually use Meguiar's Show Car Glaze on my basses: However I only use this stuff on my own basses, I'm pretty sure the finish on this particular Gibson is nitrocellulose. I want to be sure it won't hurt the guitar, or any nitro finish for that matter. Thanks.

Murph
Gibson Pump Polish. The Groper knows. I also use the Gibson Restorative Cream. Bench tested. Builder approved. Best of luck.
codyyy
Alright thanks, I'll have to look for that. They didn't have it at Guitar Trader but they did have the fretboard cleaner I needed.
